The South Australian Financial Counsellors Association is an active and valuable organisation. We support the Financial Counselling and Low Income Support sectors in South Australia, which employs directly and indirectly over 500 individuals. These workers are providing a much needed and valued service to all South Australians.
Financial Counsellors are employed by both Government and Non-Government agencies. We are able to specialise in Low Income Support, Indigenous service and advocacy, Problem Gambling service, Multicultural service, Families, Community Education, Federal and State advocacy, Credit Reform and more.
In 2007, SAFCA developed a Strategic Plan, led by its president Rosalyn Williams and aided by the Community Business Bureau.
This defining document provided a future direction for the organisation as well as an important Mission & Vision statement for the organisation.
